Fairtrade

This church has resolved to use fairly traded goods wherever possible on its premises, in support of hard working local producers in developing countries. 

Once a month after Sunday morning service a stall, run by a dedicated team of volunteers, is open for the sale of Traidcraft goods to the congregation. We sell a selected range of fairly traded foods from Traidcraft - teas, coffees, biscuits, chocolate and other foodstuffs. Some craft items and cards are on sale too.

Twice a year we run larger events open to the public, one in Fairtrade Fortnight in early spring and one pre-Christmas. Not only offering a wide range of goods for sale, these events are popular for their refreshments, especially the cakes, and for the opportunity to meet up with friends.
